The most precious day today: Kim Bo-sun Invitational
Artist · Kim Bo-sun
The June exhibition at MetaCanvas Gallery features Kim Bo-sun, a Western-style painter and Master of Korean Arts and Culture. In this exhibition, the artist conveys through painting a special message that touches the heart at the start of summer. The title is “The Most Precious Day Today.” Through these works Kim captures fleeting moments of everyday life as beautifully as flowers, offering visitors a fairy-tale sensibility.
“At the start of June, I wanted to paint even the whisper of raindrops without missing it,” the artist said, adding, “I wanted to paint, like a poem, pictures that leave a short but deep lingering feeling, like a cup of coffee.” The works are not simple landscapes; they hold the artist’s passion for capturing the emotion and time of a moment.
This exhibition includes a Thank-You Event Auction at MetaCanvas Gallery on Tuesday, June 24 at 2 p.m.
After the auction, three works worth roughly KRW 1 to 1.5 million will be given away by draw among the participants, so we ask collectors to take part.
