2025 Dancing Brain: Woo Seok-yong Invitational
Artist · Woo Seok-yong
The 2025 Dancing Brain invitational exhibition of Woo Seok-yong, a painter and poet who creates on a Galaxy Note, is held at MetaCanvas Gallery in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, from May 1 to May 31, 2025.
This exhibition is “Between Desire and Boredom” by Woo Seok-yong, a “phone-painting” artist who expresses artistic sensibility and imagination with a smartphone and who declares, “I am a Phono Artist.”
The artist deeply resonates with the philosopher Schopenhauer’s definition: “Life is like a pendulum swinging between desire and boredom.”
We invite you to experience works with intense yet natural color and a contemporary sense at MetaCanvas Gallery.
