Artist’s Statement: So Peaceful

What I hope to show through my work. If those who see it express the same feeling, then as an artist, my mission is accomplished.

I love horizons and skylines so much that, as I travel, I seek the inner peace I did not know I had and sublimate something into the work, in order to express the emotion held in a landscape. Rather than transcribing what is visible exactly, I want to make work in which my contemplation and anguish intertwine and are released simply.

I want to give viewers works through which they feel deep emotion and beauty, and find comfort and peace of mind.
